Hyaluronic acid is wonderful, but on its own, it isn't always enough to keep your skin hydrated all day. We wanted to build a hydration serum that didn't just feel good for the first hour, but actually trained your skin to hold onto water well into the evening.
Laguna Madre utilizes a deeply intelligent Saccharide Complex—a plant-derived carbohydrate that literally binds itself to your skin like a magnet, refusing to let moisture evaporate. We paired it with soothing Vitamin B5 to cool and calm, giving your face a visibly plump, rested appearance.
The Magnet: Saccharide Isomerate connects with your skin's outer layer, locking in hydration that cannot simply be washed or sweated away.
The Plump: Sodium Hyaluronate pulls water into the upper layers of the skin, immediately softening fine dehydration lines.
The Soothe: 1% Panthenol (Vitamin B5) acts as an anti-inflammatory blanket, taking the sting out of a damaged or sun-exposed barrier.

The Ritual
Because this is a liquid serum, we rely on the palm press for maximum delivery.
After cleansing and applying any liquid exfoliants (like Brooks), leave your skin slightly damp.
Dispense a few drops of Laguna Madre into your palms. Gently press the serum into your face and neck, pushing the hydration into the skin rather than rubbing it around.
Immediately follow with your moisturizer (like Palo Duro) to trap that water inside your barrier.
Laguna Madre plays perfectly with everything. You can safely layer it directly over our Caddo Copper Peptide Serum or under our Cactus Nectar Brightening Oil for an incredible glow.
Formulator's Notes
Damp Skin is Key: Humectants need water to hold onto. Applying this to slightly damp skin will dramatically increase its plumping effect.
The Perfect Primer: Because it dries down to a slightly tacky, weightless finish, it makes an absolutely flawless base for makeup.
Keep It Chilled: As you might notice from the condensation in our side-view photography, we love keeping our serums chilled. Storing your bottle in the fridge is a fantastic way to keep these hydrating actives extra refreshing, giving your face a cool, soothing treat every morning.
